Frozen drinks are increasingly popular and offer great profit potential for operators.  FEM has launched the Ugolini range of frozen drink machines, which are made in Italy and are available in two formats: the compact ICON 3 and the large-capacity NG Easy.  Both are countertop units that are easy to install.  They can be used to make a variety of different menu items, from delicious frozen drinks and cold creams to eye-catching frozen desserts and cocktails. 

The ICON 3 is available in three models, giving a choice of single, double or triple dispensing.   The electronic controls and display allow the user to easily adjust the temperature, while the overload protector prevents the unit from overheating.  The dispenser is built to last, with a steel body, shockproof copolyester container and air-cooled condenser.   Despite the very compact footprint, the ICON 3 can keep up with demand – the single bowl version is just 180mm wide by 440mm deep and 490mm high and holds 2.8 litres.  The size makes it perfect for smaller quantities and prevents unnecessary production and waste.  Its compact design and super quiet operation make it ideal for busy bars.

For bigger sites with higher demand, the larger ICON 6 model is also available upon request.  Perfect for making cold creams, sorbets, smoothies and frozen drinks, this unit comes with a 6-litre container to store larger amounts of product – single, double and triple models available.

The larger NG Easy models have also been added to the FEM range - there are six different sizes offering capacities from 6 to 30 litres.  They are easy to operate and look after, with removable panels for condenser cleaning, a shockproof polycarbonate container with easy to empty inclined tank, and a special bowl fixing system for tight, safe fastening.  The smallest model, the NG 6/1 Easy, has a single 6-litre capacity and measures 200mm wide by 480mm deep and 620mm high. 

Both the ICON and the NG easy frozen beverage machines feature the patented RecoverEnergy system, which has double-walled bowls for energy-saving and anti-condensation.
